A leak under the sink, a dripping tap, low pressure or a water heater that will not light are faults that only get worse if left. We find and repair water leaks — including hidden ones in walls or floors — without chasing more than necessary, clear blocked wastes and soil stacks, replace taps, cisterns, traps and sanitaryware, and install or swap gas water heaters and electric tanks. We also add new feeds for a washing machine, dishwasher or second bathroom and renew stretches of troublesome pipework.
When the installation is spent, we replace all of it. Many 1970s, 80s and 90s flats still run on their original iron or lead pipe: it leaks, loses pressure and discolours the water. We re-pipe the property in multilayer or cross-linked polyethylene, concealed and with no exposed joints, and renew stopcocks, traps, soil stacks and drainage, leaving the kitchen and bathroom feeds ready.
We use quality-brand materials and leave the area clean and tested. If, while dealing with a fault, we see the installation is at the end of its life, we tell you honestly — but without pressure: you choose whether to repair that section or renew the whole property, and either way the price is fixed before we start.

Faults and leaks
Hidden water leak
- What we do
- We trace and repair leaks buried in walls, floors or false ceilings, including the ones that show up as damp in the room next door.
- How we do it
- We narrow the point down with a pressure test, acoustic gear and a thermal camera before touching the tiling. We chase only the affected run, replace that section in multilayer pipe and leave the area tested and ready to make good.
Dripping tap or cistern
- What we do
- Repair or replacement of the mechanism losing water continuously.
- How we do it
- We change the cartridge, seals or the whole cistern mechanism. If the tap is furred up by the hard water in this area, we advise replacing it rather than persisting with a repair.
Low water pressure

- Diagnosis and fix for pressure drops across the property or at one specific point.
- How we do it
- We rule out the stopcock, filter, water heater and furred-up pipe in that order. Depending on the cause we clean aerators, change the valve or propose renewing the restricted run; on upper floors we assess a pressure set.

- We remove and clean the trap and run a hose or rod down the branch. We do not reach for caustic soda first: it attacks old pipe and only pushes the blockage a few metres along.
